Model D12 Lab Flotation Machine

This laboratory flotation machine has a suspended type mechanism, including totally enclosed anti-friction spindle bearing, stainless steel shaft, stainless steel standpipe with air control valve, two removable urethane diffuser type hoods, and two removable urethane open type impellers of different sizes for use in the 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 gram stainless steel tanks and a 1000 gram acrylic tank (all included).

Also included is a urethane closed type impeller for use in 250, 500 and 1000-gram tanks.  Mechanism is supported on a spring-balanced movable arm that is raised or lowered on a column by a hand crank through rack and pinion bearing and can be locked at any desired height.  The motor driven machine includes a ½ HP, 60 or 50 hertz, single phase, 115/220 volt, 1800 RPM, TEFC motor, toggle switch, variable speed V-belt drive and drive guard. 

One vanning plaque, one hydrion pH indicator and a small hand magnet are included with each order of one or more machines.  The Model D-12 unit also includes two plastic recirculation collars, permanently mounted tachometer and combination agitator and attrition scrubbing kit with 2-1/4” diameter uethane propeller.
